SOLAR CELL SCREEN PRINTERS

From stand alone Printer to a full factory line

Based on their successful model P-200A Keko Equipment has engineered a full line of screen printers for the solar cell market. The equipment is offered as a stand-alone laboratory model with optional integration of drying. In the typical Keko style options are integrated to reduce cost and floorspace. The printer also boast the application of hot melt pastes that will enable increased process speeds. More information on the stand alone printer can be found here.

The SOC6-A

With more than 30 years experience in design of automatic screen printers, Keko Equipment have put their know-how to realize a high productivity of wafers with low breakage. The SOC6A-S solar cell screen printer and dryer is the newly introduced 2nd generation equipment for solar cells. Keko Equipment have integrated all functions into one compact fully integrated packaged unit.

SOC-6A

The small footprint reduces factory floorspace usage and is easy and fast to set up or move without the need for commissioning on site. Optionally heated screens can be used for the Ferro hot melt pastes. By a fully vision controlled process, accurate positioning and wafer/print quality are fully assured. The most advanced printing technology is utilized with servo controlled movement and highly accurate fast acting pressure control to facilitate work at low pressure on the fragile substrates.

Screen change is fast due to pneumatic fixation and fast alignment with CCD cameras of the screen. A touch screen HMI continuously monitors the process, with the optional possibility for a multi-screen display of all vision functions and print SPC. The standard line consists of three screen printers with two compact IR-dryers and a turning station. The equipment will be customized to use cassettes or trays provided to feed wafers, and to automatically place wafers into the firing furnace.
